Martin John Manzo, Sr., 80, a Cape Coral, FL resident since 2004, formerly of Grafton, MA passed away Friday, December 18, 2015 in Ft. Myers, FL.  He was born October 21, 1935 in Elwood City, PA to Rocco and Teresa Manzo, now deceased.

Marty was of the Catholic faith and a US Marine Corp Veteran. He was employed as a QC Tech for over 30 years at an abrasive company in Westborough, MA and was also a member of the FreeMason society.

Marty was an avid NFL fan and even though he relocated to Florida from New England, his Patriots were always his favorite team. Marty loved dogs and enjoyed giving the neighborhood dogs treats.

Marty will be remembered most of all for his kindness, family or not he treated everybody who entered his home like they were one of his own. He loved being around his family the most, be it one of his eight children or one of his 12 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.

He is survived by his beloved wife of over 60 years, Yolanda Manzo of Cape Coral; eight children, Roberta Brothers of Cape Coral, Martin Manzo, Jr. and wife Margaret of Fairfield, CA, Teresa Marrino and husband Robert of Largo, FL, Romona Brimmer of Millbury, MA, Elvera Boland and husband John of Charlton, MA, David Manzo and wife Heather of San Jose, CA, Dennis Manzo of Cape Coral, FL and Marina Gaudette and husband Robert of Grafton, MA; three siblings, Angie Eckman of Elwood City, Pa, Rocco Manzo, Jr. and wife Betty of Washington, PA and Nicolas Manzo and wife Kathryn also of Elwood City; 12 grandchildren, Jessica, Erica, Keith, Tyler, Norah, Jacquelyn, Jayson, Melissa, Lindsey, Twyla, John and Julia; four great grandchildren, Dylan, Kourtney, Ethan and Isabella; as well as Lucy, his beloved dog.

Along with his parents, Martin was also preceded in death by a son, Raymond Manzo and two siblings, Mary Jane Suppa and Donald Manzo.

A private funeral service was held for the immediate family.
