Victor Fera VIEW PROFILE

Vic was 80 years old when he lost his fight with CLL, a form of leukemia.  He was living in Tarzana, California.

Vic was born in Ellwood City Pennsylvania on October 17th, 1935. He was a U.S army veteran where he served as an infantryman and a trombone player.  He attended Art Center College of Design and worked for many years as a graphic designer and salesman at Heath and Company in Downtown Los Angeles. My dad loved to spend time with family and friends and was passionate about vintage Porsches. He had a 1963 356 “C” that is still in the family.  Vic volunteered in the Kiwanis Club for many years.  He enjoyed providing artwork and illustrations for many charitable organizations after he retired from Health back in early 2000. Peggy, his wife of 56 years, their son Mike, brother Ralph and sister Helen survive Vic. He has two grandchildren, Jackson and Jonathan and there also are many cousins, nieces and nephews who live across the state and country.   Additionally, Dad has a large “extended family” that loved him and will miss him.  Funeral services and a memorial will be held on Wednesday, May 18th at Saint Charles Borromeo Catholic Church at 1030am. The church is located at 10800 Moorpark Street in North Hollywood, California.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made in Vic’s name to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, California Southland Chapter.  They can be found at www.lls.org.
