Vivian Jane Petrak, 76, a resident of Melbourne for 31 years, passed away March 31, 2012

She was born in Ellwood City, PA on June 6, 1935 to Leyle and Mary Colmery. She graduated from Lincoln High School, EC, PA in 1953 and was chosen by Tony Bennett to be “Woody’s Girl.” Vivian attended New Castle Business College, worked at Lincoln High School as secretary to J Ellis Bell, superintendent of Schools, and was personal secretary to “Mother Alexandra, Princess of Romania” at the Romanian Orthodox Monastery in Wurtemburg, PA.

Vivian is survived by her husband of 55 years, Paul L. Petrak, two sons, Scott C. (Diane) Petrak of Butler, PA and Jay A. (Patti) Petrak of Ellwood City, PA and one daughter, Coral L. (Lucas) Markantone of Murrysville, PA. She was greatly loved by 9 grandchildren and was preceded in death by grandson, Samuel Lucas Markantone on May 20, 2003. Vivian is also survived by one brother, Samuel (Charlotte) Colmery of Aurora, OH.

Mary Louise Barton (Berg)

Cousin Viv could create beautiful crafts and find humor in everyday happenings.  I miss her laugh most of all.  We listened to sermons from the balcony of our church and now she knows all God's secrets.  Love forever, Weeze
