Marjorie Minteer (Grinnen)

Mrs. Marjorie L. Grinnen, 81, of Ellwood City, formerly of Wampum, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2017, at the Rhodes Estates in New Castle.

Mrs. Grinnen was born on August 2, 1935, in Ellwood City to the late Paul E. and Margaret G. Francis Minteer. She was a member of Lincoln High School class of 1953. In her younger years, Marjorie enjoyed bowling.

She is survived by her daughters, Barbara (Randy) Senior of Ellwood City and Diana (Jeffery) McDonald of Koppel; her son, Timothy Grinnen of Burghill, Ohio; her grandchildren, Tom (Erin) Stelter, Beth Ann (PJ) Ceriani, Liam Grinnen, Elliott Grinnen, Cole Grinnen and Sadie Grinnen, and her great-grandchildren, Emma and Gracie Stelter. She is also survived by her sisters, Judy Grinnen and Sally Rodriguez, both of Summerville, Fla., and Kathleen (David) Davidson of New Castle, and her brother, Donald (Betty) Minteer of Ellwood City.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ralph Dale Grinnen, whom she married on August 5, 1955, and passed away on October 1, 1989.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. in the SAMUEL TEOLIS FUNERAL HOME INC. AND CREMATION SERVICES, 309 Spring Ave., Ellwood City. Interment will be in Clinton Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in Mrs. Grinnen's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
