Donald “Dike” Perry, 82, of Rustic Park Rd., Ellwood City (North Sewickley Twp.) passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at his residence..

Born January 4, 1934 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Joseph and Pauline Minnocci Perry. He was married for 52 years to Mary Ann Leopardo Perry who survives.

Dike retired as a millwright supervisor from Babcock and Wilcox in 1982. He graduated from Lincoln High School with the Class of 1953. He was a member of Holy Redeemer Church and a Veteran of the US Army. An avid golfer, Dike was a member of both the Connoquenessing County Club and Delmar Golf Course. He held the course record at the Country Club for many years shooting a round of 31 and was the Club Champion in 1963. He also had four holes in ones. Dike was a former member of the SOI, Moose, and Saxon Clubs in Ellwood City. Dike’s most cherished time was spent with his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Mary Ann, survivors include three daughters, Debra (Joseph) Price of Chippewa Twp., Donna Perry of Weirton, West Virginia, Deanna (Doug Staab) Perry of Seattle, Washington; two sisters, Kathryn (Gene) Ioanilli and Brenda (Tim) Pigza, all of Ellwood City; sister in-law, Geraldine Perry of Minneapolis, brother in law, John Leopardo; two sisters in law, Phyllis (Nick) Palagallo, Patricia (Bill) Skvarla; and two grandchildren, Kyle and Carson Price of Chippewa.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Diane Lorraine Perry in infancy, brother, Michael Perry, and his in-laws, Joseph and Sylvia Massa Leopardo.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday April 3, from 4-8 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at Holy Redeemer Church at 10 am. Interment will follow in the Beaver Falls Cemetery.
