Jean Viccari (Cummings)

Mrs. Jean Cummings, 86, of Ellwood City passed away on Saturday, June 25th, 2022 at her residence. Mrs. Cummings was the daughter of the late Damiano “Domenic” and Bridget (Lopiano) Viccari born on October 19th, 1935 in Ellwood City, She had graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1953. For several summers, Jean along with her sisters, worked at Camp Allegheny as a cook. She is a member of the Holy Redeemer Parish, and enjoyed ceramics and playing bingo. She is survived by her daughters, Ramona Cornelius of Ellwood City, Colleen (Bud) Williams of Beaver Falls, Diane (Adam) Chambers and Bridget Musquire both of Ellwood City, son, Hugh (Laurel) Sommers of New Castle, grandchildren, Johnny Cornelius, Krystal Lutz, Eric (Lisa) Davidson Jr., Travis Williams, Trenton Williams, Brittany Dean, Nathan Sommers, and Clint Sommers III, great-grandchildren Jayde Cornelius, Layne Lutz, Karsyn Lutz, Mia Williams, Arayah Williams, Lucas Sommers, Emma Sommers, Owen Krisa, Daxton Reno, Kaiden Davidson, and Cierra Davidson, and great-great-grandchild, Izaiah Ritter. She is also survived by her sisters, Rosemarie Moser of Franklin Twp. and Donna Rickert of Ellwood City, brother, Donald (Sondra) Viccari of Ellwood City, sisters-in-law, Delida Viccari and Mary Ann Viccari, and many nieces and nephews . She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ronald O. Cummings whom she married on April 25th 1986 and passed away on May 19th, 2014, sisters, Elizabeth LaCava, Antoinette Poerio, Mary Fabian, and Viola Mine, brothers, Philip, Patrick, Anthony, Ralph, Frank, Nicholas, and Domenic Viccari, and son-in-law, Tom “Tear Drop” Musquire. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 6-8 pm at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc.. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday at 10:00 am at the Holy Redeemer Church with Father Mark Thomas officiating. Interment will follow at the Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
